Ordering and Contact Us

Ordering our products can be done either by using the form below or emailing us directly using our address, supplied below. We will aim to answer all messages within seven to ten days of them arriving unless stated otherwise on our homepage.  We aim to keep a small stock of most of our kits, but on large  we "cut to order", so please allow up to two weeks for your order to be ready from receipt of ordering, though we will always endeavour to be as swift as possible. It is worth noting that correspondence and production lead times will likely increase dramatically during the summer months, when the nature of our full time occupations become both changeable and intensive. In such instances of increased workload, a "pause period" notice will appear on our homepage, denoting that orders will be received but not acknowledged, processed or manufactured until the period subsides, thus ensuring clear communication between us (the manufacturer) and you (the customer).

Terms and Conditions

All prices listed on site exclude postage, this being a flat rate of £4.00 for UK mainland unless stated otherwise. Free mainland postage with orders over £100. Offshore Islands, North of Scotland and International orders please enquire.

Title in all goods remains with the seller until payment is made in full.

Preferred payment method is via PayPal or Bank Transfer. 

Payment will neither be requested or accepted until your order is prepared, with exception to nylon-heavy products (e.g. PQR Ratcliffe Pattern Slate Wagon).

Once payment is received, we will aim to post your order within two to four working days unless otherwise stated.

If goods arrive damaged or with components missing, do not hesitate to email to arrange a replacement at no extra cost.  

If unhappy with your purchase upon arrival, returns must be made within 30 days in a marketable/unaltered/un-started condition, return postage to Harecroft being paid by the customer as per the Distance Selling Act. Upon arrival back with us, a full refund will be issued, subject to our conditions being met.

In the event of sending the wrong items in your order, please return the incorrect items to us; we will cover all postage costs by Royal Mail and send out your replacement free of charge.

All of your normal distance selling rights still apply.

Abuse and derogatory language of any kind will not be tolerated, resulting in the immediate cessation of communications and consequent termination of any order that may be in progress at the time.

All information provided by customers is strictly confidential and will not be provided to third parties of any kind.
